The famous Pringles potato chip brand has teamed up with British company The Caviar Company. Together, they have created three original kits, featuring Pringles chips with caviar. A surprising idea on the part of both companies, which has generated a lot of interest on social networks.

Pringles and caviar: the story of an idea

It all started with a trend on TikTok inspired by the Real Housewife of New York series. In an episode of season 14, a character is seen serving his guests caviar garnished with Pringles chips. An unusual idea that inspired many. Many Internet users filmed themselves enjoying caviar on the famous tiles, before posting them on the TikTok social network.

Caviar Pringles: a spectacular buzz

Together, these videos have racked up almost 10 billion views. Pringles was quick to jump on the bandwagon. The company has teamed up with The Caviar Company to create kits combining chips and caviar. A total of three kits are on sale:

The Smoky Shore kit offers an assortment of smoked trout roe to taste on Pringle onions and creme fraiche.

The Salt of Tea kit combines the original Pringles with sturgeon caviar.

A final kit offers a mix of the two above, to be shared at the apperitif. Prices for each kit range from $49 to $140.

It's a unique gastronomic experience, combining the ease of potato chips with the elegance of caviar.pr.

Happy to showcase their combined expertise, Pringles and The Caviar Company have unveiled this limited edition of chips and caviar in an original advertising campaign that plays on the TikTok trend.

An effective communications campaign

On September 19, Pringles posted its first video on TikTok, showing off the new kits for the first time. The elegant black boxes feature the logos of both brands.

Several other videos, posted on their TikTok accounts, showcase the kits.

A video published by Pringles on September 22 takes up the TikTok trend, inviting influencer Kayyorkcity to sample the famous kit. The video plays on the virality of the trend that gave rise to this collaboration. To date, the spot has been viewed over 6.2 million times.

The campaign was also taken up on The Caviar Company's social networks, in partnership with the potato chip brand.

An idea that effectively reaches the target audience. More than 2800 "likes" have already been registered on the Pringles TikTok account, and numerous comments from Internet users demonstrate the growing enthusiasm surrounding the collaboration between the two brands.

A series of photos has also been published on social networks, presenting in greater detail the three kits on offer.

Pringle has taken advantage of this trend to innovate and surprise its audience. A bold campaign whose success is already guaranteed.
