Linkedin: new AI tools arrive on SalesNavigator

Linkedin relies on artificial intelligence to improve the search for information and the connection with leads.

Linkedin relies on artificial intelligence to improve information retrieval and lead connection. As you can see from the image below, Linkedin will offer a "filter with AI" call to action. This innovative new feature will bring more precise targeting to businesses.

Linkedin explains:

"Imagine how much simpler searches will be, you'll be able to ask 'find me marketing decision-makers on LinkedIn on the East Coast of the US with whom I have a second-degree connection', and AI-assisted search will automatically do the work of selecting the right search filters."

Better targeting, but not only

In addition to the search option, Linkedin is launching Account IQ, an AI-powered feature that will create summaries of key information about each contact on your list.

Linkedin explains:

"Instead of having to search for information in different places, sales people can use Account IQ with a single click to understand the highlights of an account in a single view. This can include information such as public filing data and financial reports, or our unique LinkedIn insights on workforce trends and what's most important to business leaders."

Linkedin, towards more AI adoption

It's no surprise that Linkedin is keen to embrace artificial intelligence on its platform. While the desire stems from a growing public interest in AI, it is first and foremost being pushed by Microsoft, which acquired Linkedin in 2016, and which has entered into a partnership with Open IA, the founding company of Chat GPT. What's more, according to Linkedin, its community is particularly fond of AI tools, with 33x more posts about AI since 2022 on the social network.
