Instagram launches 4 new features, including one that lets you publish 'secret stories' for your followers and friends.

Whether you want to share your favorite song of the day (and discover your friends' best tracks) or create personalized stickers of your own, Instagram's latest features are sure to please.

Reveal sticker: create a surprise with a hidden story

With the Reveal sticker, you can publish a hidden story that only your friends and followers will be able to discover. To access it, they'll simply need to send you a DM(Instagram has indicated that it won't be necessary to approve every DM for your story to be revealed). When creating your story, you'll be prompted to enter a hint that will help you make your community's mouth water to create engagement. Before publication, you'll also be able to preview the final rendering of your story.

Sticker cutouts: create your own stickers

Turn any part of a video or photo into an original sticker to add to your publications. Each personalized sticker will be saved and accessible in your sticker library. A feature similar to Apple's image cropping tool, which lets you "crop" an object from a photo or video at the touch of a finger.

A new addition to the "Add Yours" range of stickers

Whether you want to share your mood, a new musical discovery or the song everyone was rocking out to at the last party, the Add Yours Music sticker is for you. Once your story is published, your friends can add the song they're listening to by using the "Add Yours" button.

Frames sticker: turn a photo into a Polaroid

Whether you want to highlight memories with friends or look back on a special moment, the Frames sticker turns any photo into an instant polaroid. To reveal the content, your subscribers will need to shake their phone to develop the image. You can also add a caption. The date and timestamp when the photo was taken will be added automatically.
